"Upgraded" to Nero 9, but recieved less features? |

So now BackItUp and MediaHome are sold separately. So what did I pay $50+ for, a few templates? What dissapoints me most is that they did not bother adding anything to Nero Recode, not even new profiles for AppleTV etc..
I feel scammed for upgrading from Nero 8 to 9. It does not feel like I recieved a software suite. More like a bunch of trialware with the added bonus of spyware for good measure.
.. This is propably the last time I will "Upgrade " Nero. Considering freeware alternatives are nearly as good, InfraRecorder, KMPlayer and Handbrake pretty much manage 80% of what Nero does. Also Roxios software no longer looks expensive, atleast they annually don't rip off their userbase.

Nero 9 is not value for money, loosing BackItUp and MediaHome as separate programs Nero has no respect for their userbase and are getting greedy. Those programs you suggested tried them great.
FAQ says BackItUp is included...???
I'm confused. The Nero 9 FAQ states...
"I want to take a snapshot of my hard drive in .... Can I do this with Nero 9?
Yes. The retail box version of Nero 9 includes Nero BackItUp 4 that...."
Yet it seems you're saying that BackItUp is not included in Nero 9.
Can you help me understand?
