Hello all, I am new to Nero 8. I purchase disk last week and I cannot install it. I have tried to contact the Tech Supp.# in the box for 2 days straight and all they have is an endless tape running. It is not even a toll free number. I emailed them as well and have heard nothing back. This absolutely sucks! This is not how I like to be treated as a customer. I am not that computer savy and I need their help, but that number is not even manned. My 10 day free tech support is running out in less than 8 days and then I have to pay for support. The way I see it this is consumer fraud.

Please Download the Nero 8 Update, And Put in your Serial number from your puchased disk, it will convert it to the full version, Also if you have any Roxio or Old Nero products you must remove them and do a reboot before installing nero or you will have the Same problem you have Now.
You can use the Nero 8 Clean tool from the Nero Download Page to make sure nero is cleand correctly from the Registry.
Also,
Please list the Type of System you have, Version of windows, full updates? Directx updates, Ect.. If you have problems installing after you try all that i have Listed Above Please post again.
