Audio Skips on DVD's during playback.

When I bought Nero 8 Ultra Edition.   I started to use the video DVD creator program called Nero Vision 5.      After I got used to making DVD's with it.     It burned pretty well using the Nextech DVD recorder
 

But when I play it back, the audio skips on the DVD.     The second time I did it, it played the audio then the audio blanked out until the next chapter.    

I used a program called quick media converter Beta version 3.4 trying to convert a you tube video

Things I have discovered with Nero Vision 5  

 Flv to Mpeg II   -   Audio plays and cuts off and Video plays fine

  Flv to WMV      -   Video plays and audio plays fine and then audio cuts off completely.

 The DVD Video disc played was used was a D1817 8'' portable DVD player.  

Someone needs to fix this problem, or please help me and see whats going on here.

A Few Concerns

Hi,

As i understand it, You have some diffrent types of Conversion software on your system, and burning tools.

You need to be careful when doing this, allot of programs will rewrite the Nero codecs and reassign them, then when you try to use Nero, you get problems. 

Rule of thumb is.

1.) only 1 Burning Program.

2.) Different Software will conflict and take away functions if they install there own codecs, The registry get confused and then you have problems. 

Use Caution in Installing other Software with Some of the Same Features, You Will Have Problems.

 

Your problem is a machine specific problem, you need to make sure you Remove any Previous Burning apps, Do Not use Codec Packs and Update you Drivers on your system.

 

You also need to understand that this is not a tech Support site, this site is for Posting of Videos and other media and just for Personal Blogs.

This is not a Direct line to Nero tech support, If you have Problems you Need to Email the Tech support Area or Contact them By Phone.

 

The MVP's are here to Moderate and direct, and we will give help, but as I had answered one of your other blogs on a problem, it is clear that you need to contact Support and send in a Log for them to help you directly.

I can tell you for sure, This is a Machine Specific Problem due to a codec problem, and more then likely is caused by another program you have that has overwritten and taken control of the Nero Specific Codec’s Needed for the Nero program to Function Correctly.

But not knowing you system information and all the Software installed this is all I can do for you at this time and would recommend you contact Nero Support.
