Xbox 360 won't connect to Mediahome. |

I just updated Nero 6 and I'm trying to get Mediahome to work with my Xbox 360. The 360 is listed under status, however when the 360 looks for computers, none is found. Are there any firewall ports I have to manualy open? I am running windows XP home (not WMC).

Ok. I installe Nero 7 trial. Now, when I start the mediahome server then turn on the xbox360, a popup appears and reads, a new device has been discovered and allowed by nero mediahome. Then I get a windows errror reading, NMMediaServer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I didn't get any of these errors with Nero6, only with nero7.

Yes, andre's 100% right. You'll need Nero 7+ if you want to get that XBOX working.

Hi Cappy,
You should upgrade to Nero 7 (latest Web Release) for Xbox 360 support. It's not available in Nero 6.
Maybe you wanna check out the latest demo on http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php and test it first ;-)

... sorry to hear that. Crashing is not "a good thing" (tm). Did you get the latest Nero 7 version from the web? I know that older ones are quite instable sometimes. If yes, then you should sent the crash dump over to the support guys from Nero. This way you can help to get the issue fixed in the next release.
