Nero 8 - Convert and Export Video to the Web Guide |

New to Vision is the addition of exporting video to a websites - My Nero, You Tube and My Space.
Open Vision and pick either Make DVD or Make Movie. For this guide I'm using the Make DVD option.
In the Content Screen pick add file then find you file and click add. By default Nero is leaving the name of the clip the vob file name. To change that right click on the file once added and pick rename. Now click on export.
Once you click on export scroll down to the option Export to Web. Then click on Export. Vision will now convert the file.
When Nero is done you'll get a pop to login into My Nero. Once you login you can fill out your blog here - title, description, tags etc. You can also change which site you want to upload to at the bottom right hand side.
Once you filled in what you want click upload and Nero will upload the file to the site and create your blog.

Nero Possible Bug
Mam, Dont you have any Email address !!! as for our time zones its hard to communicate in the Blog,
anyway, it could be a possible BUG as I am getting report of same crash under this proicess from many users as well as in all hardware I have tested...

How could one get in touch with Nero Team I tried the support link but no reply came !!! As I suppose as MVP you should have better contacts..

Vision problem
Hi cheeta,
I'm not running Vista but the 1st thing I would try is doing a clean install of Nero.
Uninstall Nero using the clean tool. Reboot then install the latest version 8.1.1.0.

Nero Vision + Vista Problem
Hello Mam,
I tried Nero Vision under Windows Vista x86 uptodate (without SP1) .. and I found Nero Vsion Crash under Vista when ever I try to add any Media (video) file to it...
If you please refer to the screenshot during the crash and after the crash,

When I refer to the Windows event viewer I find the error for the crash.

Found out
I had to add a tag first before it would highlight MySpace as an option.
Nero Bug
MVP's don't really have a direct line to tech support -we're just free volumteers :)
My suggestion while you what for tech support is to start a new blog here with this problem and see if anyone else has an answer or had this happen.
You can also try posting this at afterdawn.com in the Nero section.
