So, those of you who've recently installed Nero 9 Reloaded , or the latest versions of Nero MediaHome and Nero Move it may have noticed that it comes with a very useful piece of software for your web browser: the Nero Ask Toolbar.

This toolbar integrates into your browser and makes it easy for you to quickly do tasks involving Nero and My Nero without leaving the website you're already on!   With the new version, you can use the Nero Ask Toolbar to upload video, photo, and blogging content directly to My Nero.   You can even use it to begin a CD/DVD burning task right from your web browser!  

Pretty useful stuff.   I played around with the toolbar over the past week, and I have to say it couldn't be simpler to use.   Just a single click of a button will open up a host of options relating to My Nero, Nero Burning ROM, and other stuff -- not to mention Ask.com web searches.

You'll need to make sure your My Nero login info is put into the Nero Ask Toolbar so that it knows who you are.   But from there, you can quickly upload videos and photos you've come across on the internet to your personal blog on My Nero to share them with the world.   Even better, you can securely enter your Nero software registration info via the toolbar, ensuring that it's safely stored on My Nero without a lot of hassle.   From then on, it'll be there when you need it for tech support or upgrades.

You can also, of course, search for websites using the toolbar's search field.   These searches are just as quick and reliable as they would be going through Ask.com's site, but with the added convenience of them always being on the top navigation of your browser window.

In general, the Nero Ask Toolbar has always been a helpful feature included with Nero software, but the new level of integration with our software and My Nero functionality, in a practical sense, has made it 1000 percent better for the average Nero user.   If you're someone who likes to share multimedia content, or someone who really wants to get the most out of your Nero software purchase, I definitely recommend this nifty little add-on, as it will enhance your experience greatly with a very small footprint.
