Editing Video in Nero 9

Hi I need some help with nero 9. I bought it so I can edit video. I have a dvd made by a friend and he put the wrong music to it, I want to edit that and some video.  How do I do that, I already tried importing it and it doesn't see anything that is in the folder.  Please help.

I am not sure if you can't find the impoted file on your computer or can't see the imported video.  When I had some video problems I first Transcoded the video file using NERO 9 to do that.  It puts it in an MP4 format that NERO likes.
