I came up for the idea for this multiple self portrait while on a basic photography course between 2006-2007. With a Nikon D1x camera mounted on a tripod, I used the self timer to position myself in each of the three locations here and used Photoshop CS2 at the time, to blend the layers together making use of non-destructive masks.

This image went on to win a couple placings in some minor print and online photo contests, and the irony of it all is that one such photo-contest awarded me a second place prize of a $250.00 self cleaning wet/dry Panasonic electric razor.
